Rhythm Over Rigid Plans

Our days in Girona didn’t follow a strict training schedule, but rather a rhythm: movement in the morning, breakfast together, then meeting up at Espresso Mafia—a ritual that sets the tone for the day. From there, out of the city. Into the climbs around Rocacorba, onto the quiet inland roads, or along the coast. Girona offers exactly what you need at this point in the season: reliable conditions, low traffic, and terrain that supports both base work and the first efforts of intensity.

We rode with intention — the kind of training that only really pays off weeks later.

Pushbikers Setup 2026 in Action

Along for the ride: our 2026 Pushbikers jerseys, a targeted evolution based on what we learned in 2025. Fit, materials, and function were refined exactly where it matters in real-world use. Paired with our custom-fitted bikes, built in the Pushbikers workshop. Featuring new Newmen wheels and Schwalbe tires. Safety comes from Julbo helmets and eyewear, along with lightweight gloves from Roeckl.

Girona is our proving ground. This is where you find out if a setup truly works — in the wind, on the climbs, and in everyday riding. Visual consistency matters to us. It’s what allows us to show up as one cohesive community, and to be recognized as a unit at major events like the Ötztaler Radmarathon — the Pushbikers.

And in 2026, Girona becomes even more relevant for us. While much of the community remains focused on road cycling, the Pushbikers Elite Team is placing a deliberate emphasis on gravel racing throughout the season – several of those races taking place in and around Girona.

The Real Beginning

Our time in Girona isn’t an end in itself. It’s the transition — from winter into the season, from preparation into execution. The legs come back. The rhythm returns. And everything that follows is built on exactly that.
