Beautiful moments (instead of successes): Being present for the birth of both my beautiful daughters Jessamy and Alix, getting married to the love of my life, pioneering freeride mtn biking and snowboarding starting in 1983, making the Canadian National Snowboard Team and cracking the top 10 in the world racing in the 90's, winning the Canadian Grand National Boardercross Championships, competing in early Red Bull Rampage, coaching riders on snow and dirt for decades and inspiring young riders to reach for their dreams, getting to do what I love for a job and experiencing the magic of many different cultures and mountains around the world.

What do you need?

Oxygen, water, food, love, friendship, gravity, powder, dirt, a board, a bike and to be dry and comfortable in my Maloja clothing! No kidding!!

Your favourite talent?

I love to make people laugh and feel happy. I have good brake control on steep terrain, have a sweet heel turn and can blow bubbles out of my eyes underwater!

Your biggest success:

Being a dad, a pro athlete in 2 sports, and making the MTB Hall of Fame.

Your favourite form of expression?

Riding big mountain and jokes...I've always wanted to be a comedian, but they won't take me seriously!

What did you learn from life for competitive sports?

Be nice to everyone on the way up cause you're going to see them on the way down. Just focus on your own performance, not others...because that's all you can change. Live like you're going to die tomorrow but learn like you're going to live forever. Enjoy the process.
