Beautiful moments (instead of successes): jumping in the fjord in Oslo in March with my biathlon friends to celebrate the end of the World Cup season
Where do you live?
Lake Placid, New York, USA
Your biggest success?
Reaching the biathlon World Cup podium and starting a ski club almost 20 years ago at Wellesley College which is still popular and growing
What did you lern from life for competitive sports?
Accept the things I cannot change
Three things that belong in your backpack/travel bag:
lucky pigs, duct tape, bathing suit
Ability to suffer:
of course, I’m a cross-country skier! But for me skiing is actually fun. We call it “type 2 fun” when you push yourself mentally and physically, but still enjoy it
